Fire started!!

Hi all, looks like Ruthi "blew on the coals" so to speak, and reignited the blog. This is what the blog site is all about. I'll write a blurb for the QT and hopefully add more members to the blog team. I do need Email addresses, but I think some ended up in the new club roster book Pat Howard handed out at the dustoff. More to come...

Thanks Ruthi

Thanks for the encouragement...Now let's see what sort of feedback we get at the next meeting!
All that you say is possible, key word is possible, a lot of members don't have computers, and Ken has a good point in saying that some members may regard the blog as a "clique" thing.
Time will tell, untill I get a list of other E-Mail addresses, it will be hard to gauge what to expect.
Talk to you later.

Hi John,
Looking this over and seeing the potential it has for members to share ideas, links to other sites that members could visit for other information they may need, the ability to post pictures and videos, among a whole lot of other possibilities that will develop as members use this site, is very interesting and I think it's a great idea..
There could be alot of imput when people have problems with repairing their vehicle, members could post their opinion of how to "fix" the problem, share what worked for them and everyone could learn from everyone else's input.... I hope you get a favorable response from the members to try it and see how it works and how it can benefit everyone that uses it... The beauty of it to me, is the amount of people that can use it and everyone's input is able to be viewed by everyone who logs on. Its better than having to telephone everyone individually to ask an opinion of what a solution to a problem might be, whether its repairing a vehicle, getting directions to an event or any other problem that may arise. ( also saves on long distance phone expenses!)...I can think of so many directions of possible uses for this site. All that's needed is for it to be used, and the excitement to build....
Good Luck John in the birth of your new project, may it grow and be very sucessful.....:)
