After a very
long time at the Rocky Hill Grange, Little Rhody Model A Club has a “new
venue”. Bob Osborne spear-headed a group
to look for a new place to have our meetings.
Sparky Pakuris and Domenic Mosca participated. A few places were considered. Sparky’s suggestion to look at the place
where his Model T Club has met for years led to consulting with George
Taber. George took Bob through the Cornerstone
of Faith United Methodist Church in Coventry.
The church’s meeting facility looked like a great place. FYI, George is on the board at the church and
also a member of our club and the Model T club.
The club approved the move. Bob Osborne and Al Bowder arranged to move
the cabinets with our possessions to the Church. Our first meeting was held there on January
13, 2019. Our thanks to Mary Ouellette and Barbara Budziak for great
refreshments for this first meeting!
