The 2012 Dustoff Tour will be a hard act to follow!
The day was as perfect as an April day can get, bright sun, blue sky, temperature perfect for the tour.
We traveled the Rhode Island coastline in the Portsmouth/Jamestown area, stopping at Fort Wetherill State Park for the shortest meeting ever, then on to the Beavertail Light house and the Jamestown Windmill for tours of those historically interesting and picturesque locations. Both buildings were old when the Model A's were young.
All along the route, we traveled through areas of beautiful homes set in waterfront locations, and open country divided by colonial era stone walls.
The tour ended at an Applebee's restaurant for a meal and a little socializing...wouldn't be a Little Rhody event without the food and friendships.
Attendees included:
Susan and Dominic Mosca Gene and Ruth Andre
Sam and Clara Browning John and Shirley Leite
