Dustoff Tour 2012
The 2012 Dustoff Tour will be a hard act to follow!
The day was as perfect as an April day can get, bright sun, blue sky, temperature perfect for the tour.
We traveled the Rhode Island coastline in the Portsmouth/Jamestown area, stopping at Fort Wetherill State Park for the shortest meeting ever, then on to the Beavertail Light house and the Jamestown Windmill for tours of those historically interesting and picturesque locations. Both buildings were old when the Model A's were young.
All along the route, we traveled through areas of beautiful homes set in waterfront locations, and open country divided by colonial era stone walls.
The tour ended at an Applebee's restaurant for a meal and a little socializing...wouldn't be a Little Rhody event without the food and friendships.
Attendees included:
Susan and Dominic Mosca Gene and Ruth Andre
Sam and Clara Browning John and Shirley Leite
Ken and Carol Trudel David Peck and Joyce Armstrong
John and Dawn Mennucci Moe and Janice Rousseau
Paula Taylor Kevin Babcock
Richard Preliasco Allan and Sandy Bowder
Charlie and Pat Howard Richard and Joan Mowry
Jeff and Debbie Barnes Dennis Alsop
Larry and Pat Beauchaine Dottie and John Cece
Bob and Evie Osborne Don and Joan Chirnside
Enjoy the pictures, remember to click on a picture to see it full screen.

Newport 2012 St.Patrick's Day Parade
Under cloudy cool skies, the 2012 Newport St. Pat's parade was hot! Wall to wall people, colorful displays, and "recreational beverages" made this one of the best of the breed. We met up in utter and total confusion, but once the parade got moving, we had a great time.
We started the day in true Little Rhody fashion, at Al and Sandy Bowder's house for coffee an'.
After the parade, we met at the Newport Atlantic Beach Club for lunch and conversation, then a few of us followed Pat and Charlie Howard to their house for desert and coffee.
Seems like food is almost as important as Model A's with our members!

Christmas 2011
This year's Christmas party featured a sit down dinner, our usual DJ, and our traditional visit from our very own Santa.
Dawn presented the Carol Burns award to Pat and Charlie Howard for their continual support for Little Rhody events and activities. She also presented the Herb Allen award to the couple who were selected by club vote, as having contributed the most service to the club in 2011, Bob and Evie Osborne.
Santa distributed presents to club members, and the DJ provided seasonal music for our enjoyment and dancing.
Enjoy!

Swamp Yankee Days September 24th and 25th 2011
It was a grey weekend, but the rain held off, and the Little Rhody members who attended the Swamp Yankee Days were rewarded with Johnycakes, chowder and clamcakes, and craft and flea market items. Antique tractors, and antique stationary engines powering old farm implements were the real draw for the Little Rhody contingent though.
