On July 21st
we had a great turnout at the Old Windmill.
This windmill was built in 1787 and in operation until 1896. It was a great place to park and show off the
A’s. The Jamestown Historical Society
invited us to join them as they unfurled the sails on the Historic Windmill and
let it run. The grounds were very nice
and afforded a beautiful view of the bay and the Newport Bridge in the distance. Sea breezes, Jonnycakes, and an old fashioned
string band made us feel welcome!
