There were 26 people able to make it to Wright’s
Farm to what is affectionately referred to as the “Chicken Run”. Folks from the south and west, including our
friends the Barnes from North Stonington, Connecticut met at the West Greenwich
Town Hall early on that Sunday. That
group traveled convoy-style to the Dunkin Donuts in Scituate, made a quick
stop, and proceeded north on route 102 to the restaurant. As usual, there were several other Model A
Clubs there displaying their cars and enjoying the day. Other club members joined up at the farm for the
usual family style chicken dinner at about 12:30 pm. A trip to the gift shop is always a treat for
the gals, and the guys went about their usual tours of the cars again and discussed
Model A business. Though cloudy, and
cool we were thankful for the day remaining rain and wind free!
