The season
is ebbing as we come closer to the very end of the Model A Year for most of
us. As has been usual in the last
several years, folks brought food gifts for the food bank connected to the
Mowry’s church. After the business was
done, our favorite Auctioneer, Sparky, did the honors for a lively brown bag
auction. The economy must be a bit
better this year because items were selling to very determined bidders with a
lot of energy! Near the end of the
auction, the pace picked up because (we think) the Patriots game was scheduled
to start at about 8:30…hmmmm. Our next
and last big event for the year is the Christmas Party on December 2nd
at Richard’s Pub.
